Pre-launchSpartan Trust is not open yet: nothing here can be bought and there is nothing to sign in to. Early adopters will be invited first.

What we collect, and who answers for it

Two forms on this site collect personal information: the contact form and the early adopter waitlist. Everything optional is listed below, and nothing optional runs until you have said so.

Sparta.ms is the storefront. Indominus Managed Security Inc. / Indominus Sécurité Gérée Inc. is the legal entity responsible for the personal information collected through it, under Quebec’s Law 25 and Canada’s federal privacy and anti-spam legislation.

A cookie banner appears only when this site has something optional to ask you about, and it lists exactly what that is. Where you see none, this site is loading nothing optional: no cookie, no audience measurement, no tracker. The list below is always the current one, and nothing optional runs before you have said yes.

What applies whatever the cookies do is the two forms, which collect personal information either way: the contact form and the early adopter waitlist. So the disclosure below is stated in full here, repeated in short beside each form, and consent is an unticked box you have to tick before anything is kept.

Your trace choices

Everything optional this site can load is listed here, with who receives it, what it puts in your browser, and where it goes. Change your mind as often as you like: this is the same control the gate offers, and refusing everything here is how you withdraw a choice you made earlier.

What you chose

You have not been asked yet, so nothing optional is loaded.

You are asked under Quebec’s Law 25. Nothing optional runs until you say yes, and anything that measures or profiles is off unless you turn it on. Each choice is separate, you can change or withdraw it at any time as easily as you gave it, and refusing has no consequence for you. Some of these tools belong to companies outside Quebec, so your information may be processed outside Quebec.

Your rights. You may ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by writing to legal@indominus.ms. You may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Refuse all is a withdrawal: it takes effect on the next page you load, and no trace you refused is ever emitted again unless you come back here and say otherwise.

The one thing we store without asking

If you ever make a choice here, we keep a record of it in your browser so we can honour it — which categories you chose, which version of this list you were shown, and when. That record is strictly necessary to respect your answer, so it needs no consent of its own; asking permission to remember a refusal would be a trap. It is readable only by this site's server, never by a script, and it expires after six months. Until you choose something, nothing at all is stored.

What the two forms collect

  • On both forms, at every door: your first and last name, your work email, your telephone number, your organisation, and your business's address and location — street address, city, province or state, postal code and country — together with what you came to ask and anything else you chose to write. Your job title, your company's website and industry, its size band and how you would rather be answered, if you give them. We ask for all of it so that we can set you up as a company and a contact in our customer record.
  • At the consultation door the size band of the business is required too, because a consultation is a conversation and its scope depends on the size of the business.
  • At the partner door and on the waitlist, your company's website is also required, because it is the address a Passport would be published under.
  • On the early adopter waitlist: the same card, and whether you would use Spartan Trust as a supplier, as a buyer or as both, and what you hope to do with it.
  • Which doorway or form you came in by, so a person who can answer that kind of request gets it, and which language you were reading, so they answer you in it.
  • That you ticked the consent box, which statement you were shown, and when — because an agreement nobody can evidence later is not one.
  • And nothing else. A field a doorway does not ask for is not read even if a submission carries it, so what reaches our customer record is what you saw on the page in front of you.
  • Nothing is collected from you anywhere else on this site. There is no form anywhere but on the contact page and the early access page, and reading a page here records nothing about you beyond the server log every web server keeps.

Why we keep it, and what we never do with it

  • So a person can read your message and answer it, to set you up as a company and a contact in our customer record, and so we can show later
  • On the waitlist, to write to you about when Spartan Trust opens and what early adopters are offered, and for nothing else.
  • It is never used to score anything and it never touches a Passport, ours or anybody’s.
  • It is never sold, never rented, and never used to build a profile of you.
  • We do not write to you about anything other than the enquiry you sent or, on the waitlist, the opening of Spartan Trust, unless you ask us to.

Where it goes

  • Into our own customer record, and nowhere else. This site itself stores nothing: it hands the message straight on and keeps no copy.
  • The customer record runs on Microsoft services, as does this site. Depending on the service, some processing may take place outside Quebec, and we limit that to what is necessary to operate the site and answer you.
  • We keep an enquiry for as long as the conversation it started is live, and the record of your consent for as long as we could be asked to prove it.
  • We keep a waitlist entry until Spartan Trust has opened and you have been offered a place, or until you ask us to remove it.

How your choices are kept

  • The decision is made on our server, from your recorded answer, before the page is built — not by a script that runs afterwards. Nothing you refused is ever in the page.
  • If the list changes, your previous answer does not carry over: you are asked again, with everything unticked.
  • You can check this yourself. Open your browser’s developer tools on any page here and compare what you find with the list above.

Your rights, and how to use them

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdraw your consent, and ask us to delete everything we hold about you. Say so and we will.
  • Complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec if you are not satisfied with how we answered.
  • Write to legal@indominus.ms. A person at the responsible entity answers, not a ticket queue.

What to do next

One thing: tell us you want in. If you would rather talk to a person, that is here too.

Spartan Trust is not open yet. Early adopters are invited first. It is a request, not an account: nothing is created and nothing is bought.

Your privacy. Optional measurement tools load only if you say yes, and refusing changes nothing about this site. Read the privacy notice
